Dental Implants: Multiple Teeth Replacement in Thailand
Dental Implants: Multiple Teeth Replacement in Thailand

You do not have to spend the rest of your life with those gaps in your dental formula as you can now replace them with dental implants. It does not matter whether you lost the teeth one by one to tooth decay, disease or some form of trauma. You can have them all replaced with dental implants. Replacing these gaps with dental implants will help you avoid having to modify the other remaining teeth. It will also give you a confidence boost because you will not have to hide your teeth all the time.

Importance of Teeth Replacement

As time passes by, our teeth grow weaker and weaker. To make sure that we maintain our teeth in good condition, we have to be careful about what we eat and how we eat. Neglecting to take care of teeth can be detrimental as more problems will appear faster than when we were younger. Living with missing teeth speeds up the deterioration of the other teeth that we have left because they are exposed to air and the biting or chewing process is altered making it easier to chip or crack teeth. It is therefore important to replace missing teeth as fast as possible.

Advantages of Dental Implants to Replace Missing Teeth

Whether you have one missing tooth or many, dental implants can be used as a great replacement. The biggest advantage of having implant supported teeth is that they become permanent. They will not move around or come off like when you opt for other solutions like dentures, which are not permanent.

Another advantage of dental implants is that they will help to preserve your jawbone. They are installed directly onto the jawbone so you will no longer have an exposed jawbone that easily deteriorates.

Last but not least, dental implants will feel just like your natural teeth. You will not have to live with any discomfort and you will be able to use them just like you used to use your natural teeth. You can go about your normal life having forgotten that they are not natural.

To make matters even better, we at MedAsia Healthcare Complex, Thailand make the whole procedure possible in just one trip!

Are Dental Implants Better Than Bridges?

For a very long time, people have been using bridges for the replacement of multiple missing teeth. This used to be the only solution but it does have its drawbacks.

First and foremost, for the dentist to install the bridge, he/she has to grind down and then cap the adjacent teeth so that they can be used to support the new teeth. With the capped teeth supporting the bridge, they become weaker over time as this was not meant to be their natural function. They usually therefore end up falling off.

Bridges also do not solve the problem of your jaw’s bone loss. The area where the teeth are missing will still continue to disintegrate causing other serious problems.

Our dentists at MedAsia Healthcare Complex, Thailand advice that dental implants are therefore a much better solution for multiple teeth replacement than the use of bridges.
